Hi, I'm Savitha

I have been teaching Kannada online for 7 years in a fun and interactive way.

Tutor - Savitha

After teaching in traditional schools for over 20 years, I moved to independent tutoring. I teach Kannada in small groups so every student gets the attention they need. Classes take place on Zoom with same grade students learning together. The group setting keeps students involved and encourages healthy competition among peers. I explain lessons, poems, and other topics in both Kannada and English so students understand the language clearly and know what they are reading.

How Classes Work

Each class lasts about 60 minutes and follows the same lesson order used in school so students stay in sync with what they are learning in class. I take the lesson step by step and explain the meaning word by word. Students learn the Kannada text along with it's English meaning so they understand what they are reading. We work through the question and answer sections and the grammar connected to that lesson during the class. Students also receive short assignments to practice reading and writing Kannada after class.

Teaching Kannada

Kannada becomes easier to learn when students use it regularly in reading, writing, and speaking. In my classes, students read the lesson aloud, understand the meaning of the text, and discuss it during class. I guide them through vocabulary, sentence meaning, and the grammar connected to the chapter. With steady practice, students become comfortable handling Kannada in their school lessons. They learn to read the text with understanding, write clear answers, and speak about what they have learned.

"Language learning requires building confidence alongside skill. Students need to feel safe making mistakes, asking questions, admitting when they don't understand."
