How Classes Work

What grades do you teach?

I teach students from grades 4 to 9 and cover CBSE, ICSE, and Karnataka State Board curricula.

How are classes structured?

Each session runs for about 60 minutes and takes place live on Zoom. During the class we work through the lesson, read the text, discuss the meanings, and go over the questions and answers. Grammar is usually covered in separate sessions, and students keep different notebooks for literature and grammar.

What’s the batch size?

Batches are kept small, usually around 12 to 15 students. This allows me to track individual progress and provide meaningful feedback.

What will my child learn?

Classes follow the lessons taught in school and cover the grammar topics in the prescribed syllabus. Students learn the question answers and poems from their lessons, and I also help them with enrichment activities, assignments, and homework from school.

What does my child need for classes?

Students need a laptop, PC, or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and the Zoom app. They should also maintain two separate notebooks, one for literature and one for grammar.

What if my child misses a class?

If a session includes a lesson explanation, it is recorded and available for 48 hours. If a student misses the class, they can watch the recording. For repeated absences or ongoing issues, we can discuss alternatives.

Enrollment

How do I enroll?

Fill out this enquiry form with your child's details and learning needs. I'll get back to you within 2-3 days to discuss the next steps.

Is there a trial class?

Yes, your child can attend one trial session at no cost. This gives both of us a chance to see if the teaching approach is a good fit.

When will the classes start?

The classes will start in the first week of June. The registrations will close on 25th of May.

Can my child join mid-term?

It depends on current batch availability and where your child is in the curriculum. Reach out and we can discuss whether the mid-term enrollment makes sense. However, late enrollment would means missing the initial foundational concepts covered in the earlier sessions.

Fees

What are the fees?

Fees depend on the grade. Classes are usually held twice a week, which comes to eight sessions each month. Payment is made in advance before the 5th of each month.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to discontinue, please provide one month's notice. This allows me to plan batch sizes and accept new students accordingly.
